Alwado was set up in 1998 within the Antalya industrial zone on a 40,000 m² plot, though the family's roots in timber reach back to the 1940s.

By pairing that long experience with modern technology, the company supplies premium timber and panels for doors, houses and furniture, and also presses wood pellets used as household fuel. Now counted among Turkey's leading timber producers, Alwado exports to a number of markets abroad.
