Anadolu University — Eskişehir

Anadolu University is a major public university in Eskişehir, central Turkey. The institution began as the "Eskişehir Academy of Commercial and Economic Sciences" and was transformed into Anadolu University by the Turkish government in 1982 during the surge in demand for higher education in the 1970s–80s.

Growth and reputation: Despite being relatively young, Anadolu has grown into one of Turkey's most important modern and dynamic universities. Eskişehir has come to be known as the "City of Youth and Scientific Culture" largely because of the university — drawing huge numbers of students who come for high-quality education.
