Buyukada State Hospital

Buyukada State Hospital is the only hospital in the Adalar district of Istanbul, which is affiliated with Kartal Lutfi Kirdar Hospital in Kartal, and provides health services to islanders living in Heybeliada, Burgazada and Kanaliada.

Health services, which have been a major problem for many years in the islands, have been solved by Büyükada State Hospital, which has a polyclinic service every weekday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The hospital, which provides emergency service around the clock, contains land and sea ambulances to transport patients, and includes the following departments on a daily basis: internal medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, ophthalmology, and general surgery.

As for the rest of the departments, they have specific days per week, such as ear, nose and throat (on Wednesdays and Fridays), the obstetrics and gynecology department (on Mondays and Wednesdays), and physical therapy, orthopedics, and radiology (on Wednesdays).
