Gazi University — Ankara

Gazi University is one of Turkey's most historic public universities, founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in 1926 as the Secondary Teacher Training Institute. Located in the capital Ankara, it ranks 9th among Turkish universities.

Scale and structure: 15 faculties, 9 vocational higher schools, 26 research centres, and 6 graduate institutes.
