İsdemir — Integrated Iron & Steel Mill

İsdemir, part of the OYAK Mining Metallurgy group, was founded in 1970 in Payas, Hatay, across a 6.8-million-square-metre site. It is the third integrated iron and steel mill built in Turkey and the largest by production capacity.

The mill produces steel bars, reinforcing bar, flat steel and a wide range of other steel goods, alongside by-products such as crude tar. Built around modern manufacturing techniques, its output is positioned as high-quality and environmentally friendly, and is exported worldwide with a particular focus on southern Europe and the Middle East.
