İzmir Demir Çelik (Izdemir) — Rebar & Steel Bars

İzmir Demir Çelik, known as Izdemir, was founded in 1975 on a 500,000-square-metre site in İzmir and brings more than 47 years of iron and steel experience. Its rolling facilities came online in 1983 and the steelworks in 1987.

The plant concentrates on steel bars and construction reinforcing bar, with an annual capacity of around 1.5 million tonnes of steel and 1 million tonnes of rebar. That scale places Izdemir 37th among Turkey's 500 largest industrial enterprises.
