Kırıkkale University (KKÜ) — known in Turkish as Kırıkkale Üniversitesi — is a public university in the city of Kırıkkale, in central Anatolia approximately 80 km east of Ankara. Founded on 3 July 1992, the university has grown into a substantial comprehensive institution.
